How To Judge Co2 Laser Tube Quality Problem
(1) Laser engraving and cutting depth is not enough when the laser tube start to work
Please kindly check the laser tube installing fixture is prober or not. Light path is correct or not. Focusing distance setting is correct or not. Mirror and focus lens face is clean or not. If it has scratch, if all is ok, we judge it is the laser tube problem.
(2) Laser engraving and cutting depth is not enough after laser tube working a while.
Please kindly check the laser tube installing fixture is prober or not. The laser cooling water temperature is higher than 30 degree or not. The focus lens and mirror is hot or not. The volume and pressure of the cooling water is normal or not.If all is ok, we judge the laser tube have quality problem.
(3) High voltage spark and discharge
Please kindly check positive connector is dirty and wet or not. It is near to machine metal body or not. For laser power supply positive connector is connected or not. the high voltage cable is break or offline or not. If all is no problem, we adjust the laser tube is quality problem.
(4) CO2 Laser tube break off, crack, laser head fall off.
(a) The cooling water temperature is controlled between 25-30 temperature or not. In cold area, the water cannot stay in laser tube for freezing.
(b) The laser tube working is under laser water protective controlled or not. (Test the laser beam occur or not once the water protective stop work)
(c) The laser tube has bubble or not.
(d) Laser water pressure and volume is normal or not. And the direction of laser water flow in laser tube is from lower to higher point.
(e) The water pipe is knotted or not.
If all are ok, the laser tube have quality problem, we need to replace a new co2 laser tube.
How To Install Co2 Laser Tube
Firstly, connect the water pipe to laser water chiller, adjust the outlet water pipe position according to the principle of laser water flowing from lower position to higher position direction. Ensure the laser water is full of the laser tube and don't have bubble. Then, open the laser power supply.
(a) The laser cooling water is distilled water or pure water, the temperature should be 20-30. In summer, the water temperature can't be lower more than 5 degree than environment temperature, otherwise the tube outside wall will have frozen water, then tube maybe will spark and damaged.
In cold area, don't let the water freezing, especially don't let the water stay in laser tube if the laser machine not work.
b) The two fixture should be installed in the 1/4 position of laser tube head. And the volume of water flowing is 2L-4L/min, if not, the cooling water effect is not good. It will let the coating of the tube easy fall off. Beams not focused and decrease the laser power. The nozzle of cooling water in chiller must be covered underwater. If not, the laser tube cannot full with water when next start.
(c) Please pay attention to protect the laser output window to avoid smoke sputtering during working as well as adjusting light path. When the laser output window is polluted, the laser power will be decreased. So please use absorbent cotton or cloth dipped in alcohol without water to clean the surface of laser output window.
(d) When installing, adjust the position of the tube fixture or rotate the laser tube to achieve the best effect. Then fix the laser tube up very well.
(e) Keep the high voltage cable and connector clean and dry.
(f) If the cooling water is not clean and tube using long time, the tube inside wall will appear remains, it will decrease the cooling effect, then please use 20% rare hydrochloric acid to clean scale of cool tube.
(g) It is glass laser tube, operate it carefully.
(h) Please use laser tube reasonably. The laser tube is used by the right ways, which will save laser power. In fact, the optimal laser power is only 80% for itself.
